Recent Projects
Strengthening Health through Social and Behavior Change and Community Engagement (SBC-CE)
Nutri-Liberia, in partnership with UNICEF and the Ministry of Health (MOH), launched the SBC-CE project to address Liberia’s alarming maternal, newborn, and child mortality rates. The project integrates Social and Behavior Change (SBC) and Community Engagement (CE) strategies to improve health outcomes for women and children in rural communities.
Key Highlights:
- Goal: Empower at least 60% of households in Montserrado, Gbarpolu, Grand Gedeh, and Grand Kru counties to access essential health services.
- Target Population: Women, children, and adolescents in rural Liberia.
- Focus Areas: Maternal and child health, immunization, child nutrition, adolescent health, and reducing neonatal mortality.
